In 1995, we developed and implementing the patented manual pulse generator (MPG) functionality that is now considered the standard practise for machine builders.
MPG feed mode can be used during part program dry run, or during a cutting operation to move forwards and backwards along the programmed path. This process is extremely beneficial for machine builders as it provides more control when testing the program.
MPG feed can be used to quickly evaluate the movements of the machine step by step, allowing faster set up, user interaction and feedback.
ANCA Motion’s advanced MPG feed can follow the contours of the path and can be controlled to not only move the machine to a precise position but to reach that position at a regulated speed.
